4. Who can attend events and how do I find out about events?
Policies about attending events is always on an event-by-event basis. Sometimes we hold events in residential areas and they can only be attended by WashU students, other times we hold events in public-accessible spaces and everyone's invited to attend. If you qualify to be on our mailing list then please join our mailing list. If you do not qualify to join our mailing list just check back once in a while to look at our news and calendar pages. The published information about each event should clarify who can attend the event- if there's any question about it please send an e-mail to Info@WashUAltLife.org

5. What happens at meetings?
There are a few different types of meetings:
Discussion groups: members just get together and talk about a pre-determined topic (and sometimes other related... and unrelated... topics).
Speaker-Lead Discussions: We invite a guest or two who are experts (or at least well informed) on the topic we're going to cover and they lead the discussion, clarify definitions, answer questions, etc.
Workshops: Members have a chance to learn various techniques and practice them right away!
