Pros: lists all books & movies in the ALA's library. Clicking on each title opens a pop-up page which gives details about each book including the synopsis from the back/inside front cover, a table of contents, and reviews (if available). Books and videos are listed by category.

Cons: Search feature (using Edit -> Find) only allows you to search titles of books, not the descriptions of them, not as pretty as the Google Books page.

Pros: easier to read & you can use the search bar at the top of the page (not the one at the bottom of the page) to search for keywords in both the titles and descriptions of the books.

Cons: doesn't list the movies we have in our library. There are a few books that Google Books doesn't have in their database which the ALA has in its library. Also, books are not categorized.
