A student run peer education organization dedicated to advancing the campus conversation regarding LGBT issues. This group can be reached at

S.A.R.A.H.
The Sexual Assault & Rape Anonymous Hotline is a 24/7 helpline that offers counseling, resources, and referrals on rape, sexual assault, abuse, relationships and more. S.A.R.A.H. is completely student run, anonymous, confidential, and open to all members of the WashU Community. They can be reached at (314) 935-8080
Uncle Joe's
Uncle Joe's is a student-run, free, and confidential peer counseling service available to the entire University community. All counselors receive 80 hours of intense training and have access to numerous and extensive resources. Call 24/7 to page a peer counselor. The Uncle Joe's Office is located in the basement of Gregg House and is staffed for walk-ins 7 days a week between 10pm and 1am. They can be reached by e-mail at

Social Justice Center
A student-run organization that promotes awareness and understanding of social justice and diversity issues by providing education and resources. Walk-in hours are from 6-10pm, Sunday-Thursday. They can be reached at

Pride Alliance
A multi-focuse LGBTQIA group open to all WashU students regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. It's goals are to advocate LGBTQIA-friendly public policies through activism and greater awareness, to educate the WU community about LGBTQIA issues, and to build a supportive social network for LGBTQIA students. Pride Alliance also maintains a library of both printed and audio/visual materials open to all University students, faculty, and staff. People Exchanging Power (PEP)
This is an education based 21+ group which used to put on monthly demonstrations, the group has been on hiatus and may continue to be for some time. (Their website may or may not still work)
Fetish Lifestyle Open Group (FLOG)
This is a play based 21+ group which hosts a social event each month at which people can meet others in the community, browse goods from local vendors and, if they wish, make use of the group's equipment for play in the designated dungeon area.
St. Louis Leather & Lace (STL3)
This is a 21+ membership organization which hosts regular monthly education and play events for its members as well as monthly social gatherings for perspective members to meet current members.
St. Louis Gender Foundation
The St. Louis Gender Foundation strives to provide a safe place for people to explore their gender differences. They do this through their monthly meetings and occasional group outings.
The AIDS Foundation of St. Louis
The mission of the AIDS Foundation of St. Louis is to provide leadership in marshaling resources through public awareness, advocacy, collaboration and targeted grant-making for the care of people affected by HIV/AIDS and to assist in preventing the epidemic from spreading.
